You want your website url to start https:// and not http://. HTTPS secures the connection between you and any website. It’s 100% expected now but you’ll come across many that don’t use it. Best stay clear of those websites if on public WIFI. It should be safe to visit https websites on public WIFI. Even better with a military grade VPN on your phone (A VPN conceals your actual identity and helps you get around regional limitations and censorship, unlike HTTPS). Some manufacturers are offering excellent VPNs for free on their handsets now. Well, one at least.
